Effective September 14, 2026
Privacy, explained plainly.
This policy explains how Quantum Innovation & Technologies (“QIT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information connected with the public MyQIT.com website. Separate agreements may govern information handled through QIT services or software.
Information you provide
When you contact QIT, we may receive your name, business name, email address, phone number, areas of interest, and the information you include in your message. A warranty request may also include customer and RV information, VIN, purchase date, warranty-provider information, repair details, labor and parts information, and documents or photographs you choose to attach.
A career application may include your name, contact information, address, education, area of interest, availability, systems and skills you identify, a written response and its word-count and elapsed-time measurements, and your response to a limited criminal-history question. Do not submit Social Security numbers, government-identification images, banking details, passwords, payment information, sealed or expunged records, juvenile records, or arrest-only information.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events. QIT will disclose and review any analytics or nonessential tracking before enabling it.
Optional AI Showroom activity
The showroom asks before recording optional activity. If you allow it, QIT records a random session identifier, server timestamps, selected agent and FAQ interactions, question counts, referral hostname, browser/device category, and approximate city, state/region and country where our hosting provider supplies them. Location is a network estimate, not precise GPS. We do not read your browser account name or record unsent typing. The demo works when you decline. A browser Global Privacy Control signal disables this optional recording.
A separate unchecked choice allows submitted demo questions and replies to be retained for review. Automated filters attempt to remove common contact details and sensitive terms, but cannot guarantee removal of all private information. Use fictional examples and do not enter confidential records. A separate form checkbox lets you voluntarily save your contact details for QIT follow-up. Opening an email draft alone does not confirm that an email was sent.
Activity and opted-in contact details are deleted after 90 days; message text is removed after 30 days. Access is restricted to QIT administrators. The session identifier is stored in session storage; your privacy choice is stored locally for 30 days. Use Privacy choices in the showroom and select No thanks to stop recording and request deletion of this browser session. You may also contact info@myqit.com for access, correction or deletion. QIT does not sell this information or use it for targeted advertising.
Jay.ai conversations
When you send Jay.ai a message, your message and recent conversation context are sent to OpenAI to generate an answer, even if you decline optional analytics. The demo does not access QIT internal records or connected business tools. Use fictional examples and do not submit confidential information. Conversation context stays in page memory until reset or reload. QIT does not persist these messages through the chat endpoint; optional transcript recording is controlled separately above. Requests use OpenAI’s store:false option; provider security and abuse-monitoring retention may still apply under its policies. Separate anonymous abuse counters expire within 24 hours and contain no message text.
How information is used
- Respond to requests and communicate about QIT services or software.
- Evaluate career applications, coordinate interviews or requests for information, prepare offers or agreements, and maintain hiring records.
- Route an inquiry to the appropriate QIT team.
- Operate, secure, diagnose, and improve the website.
- Meet legal obligations and protect QIT, its customers, and its systems.
QIT does not use an automated “AI-likeness” score to make hiring decisions. Application status and hiring decisions are reviewed by authorized people.
Form delivery and sharing
QIT uses FormSubmit to receive certain public contact and warranty forms by email. FormSubmit and its spam-prevention providers may process those form contents and technical information to deliver and protect submissions under their applicable terms and privacy practices. Career applications are submitted directly to QIT Mission Control for restricted review and are not routed through FormSubmit. QIT does not sell personal information. We may otherwise share limited information with service providers that help us host, secure, maintain, or operate the website and communications, or when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, contractual needs, dispute resolution, security, and legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information you submitted, subject to legal and operational limits. You may also ask QIT to stop nonessential communications.
Children and external services
The website is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. Links to external websites or software are governed by those services’ own terms and privacy practices.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the website and our practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to info@myqit.com.
